THE GUEST HOUSE
Our guest house was built in the art nouveau style in 1907 by Victor Burtin, a great chef who was returning from Germany where he had been the chef to Kaiser Wilhelm II.In 1933, when the famous Michelin guide created its star system and he was one of the first 23 chefs to be able to display the famous ‘3 Stars’ on the front of their establishments. At the time, its reputation far exceeded our borders. Passionate about art nouveau, he built also a magnificent villa which he called “Villa Brillat Savarin” and which you can see perched high above the town.We kept the original structure of the house and added a touch of comfort and modernity. Our four suites are air conditioned and equipped with every comfort – bathroom with separate toilet, television, coffee machine. They all have a seating areas, a desk and WiFi. Some also benefit from a dressing room. We also able to offer a family suite that can accommodate up to six people with its two bedrooms, two bathrooms and two toilets. On the ground floor, our library and lounge together with the dining room are reserved for you. In the morning, we serve a healthy, continental breakfast. In the evening, you can make use of the dining room for yourselves if you wish, where we have a microwave, crockery, glasses and cutlery available for residents. Our terrace allows you to sunbathe in peace. A private parking area is available just a few meters from the house. We are located very close to the town, a few minutes walk from its historical and religious centre.
